Tacares de Grecia, May 2025. Evolution Free Zone reaffirms its commitment to the generation of quality employment in the Western Region with its participation in the First Edition of the Brete Occidente Job Fair, organized by the Ministry of Labor and held in Palmares last April, attended by more than 2,000 people.
In this first stage, more than 1,200 people filled out the form that Evolution Free Zone prepared, in order for them to know and apply for the available positions according to their labor profile in the companies that are about to start operations in this Free Trade Zone.
After its opening in October of last year, Evolution Free Zone has already received the confirmation of six recognized companies in the medical device sector. These companies, global leaders in their field, confirm the Park’s potential as a catalyst for formal employment and sustainable economic development.
With the upcoming start of operations of the six companies, the first 6,000 jobs for Evolution Free Zone are confirmed. Within 15 years, this business park plans to create 20,000 direct, quality jobs.
In April, AVNA was the first company to open its advanced manufacturing plant, and for this operation it expects to create 200 new jobs in engineering, manufacturing, automation and quality control, in addition to the 150 employees currently employed by the company.
“Evolution Free Zone is an ideal platform to enhance human talent at all levels. The different companies that will operate in the Free Trade Zone require a variety of positions that will benefit the entire Western Region with quality employment, with the difference that people will not have to move to other more distant areas, thus improving their quality of life,” said Carlos Wong, Managing Director of CODE Development Group, the developer of the project.
Wong emphasized that this Free Trade Zone, with its world-class infrastructure, meets global standards of excellence for the attraction of Foreign Direct Investment, thus favoring the generation of opportunities to improve the living conditions of the human talent that works in this park.
As an entire ecosystem of high-tech businesses, the profiles that will be most in demand range from manufacturing operators, to technicians specialized in metal mechanics, electronics, processes and quality control, as well as professionals in engineering, administration and quality management.
Those who are interested can consult and apply for available positions that will be updated through the CODE Development Group’s Job Exchange on the website: www.empleocode.com
Evolution Free Zone will also actively participate in the Talent Costa Rica 2025 Job Fair, organized by Procomer, this Friday May 9 and Saturday May 10 at the Convention Center. This space will be a valuable opportunity to connect with those interested in positions available in the companies that will soon be operating in this Business Park.
