April 2026. With the start of operations of Accudyn Products Inc., Evolution Free Zone continues to consolidate its position as a high-tech business park developed to serve smart manufacturing operations.
This company, which specializes in injection molding critical components for the medical, automotive, and appliance industries, has operations in the United States and Mexico, and now in Costa Rica.
The opening of the new Accudyn plant in Evolution Free Zone reflects the capacity of this business park to host highly specialized operations that require world-class infrastructure, as well as a business environment that facilitates long-term sustainable growth. It also represents the confidence of the international industrial sector in the Costa Rican technical capabilities and talent

With a footprint of 3,750 m² and a 700 m² mezzanine, the building developed by Evolution Free Zone was designed to house complex production processes in highly regulated industries, using Building Information Modeling (BIM) methodology, and complying with OSHA guidelines, to promote world-class occupational health and safety management systems.
“The start of operations at Accudyn demonstrates how Evolution Free Zone has been designed and developed to respond to the real needs of advanced industries. Our infrastructure and buildings not only enable us to start operations efficiently, but also to plan for future growth within a business ecosystem that is ready to support that evolution,” said Carlos Wong, Managing Director of CODE Development Group, the developer of Evolution Free Zone.
In turn, Don Stolarski, Vice President of Accudyn, emphasized that the company’s new operation in Costa Rica “is not just a geographic expansion, but a direct response to the needs of our customers for high-precision manufacturing solutions closer to their end markets. We selected this country for its ecosystem of innovation and human talent, which allows us to offer operational agility that very few companies in our industry can match in the region.”
The construction design of Accudyn includes an expansion phase, which projects flexible future growth and greater impact on the local production ecosystem. This flexibility will allow the company to add additional machinery and increase production shifts without interrupting existing operations.
In addition, the plant will incorporate 4.0 technologies with 3D scanning and printing capabilities for rapid prototyping and high-precision geometric validation. It will also feature a metrology laboratory and an area for mold maintenance, specialized assembly, and value-added operations that will optimize delivery times.
Companies such as Accudyn find Evolution Free Zone to be a model environment, with world-class services and infrastructure and a robust business ecosystem for successful operations.
Wong emphasized that the arrival of this prestigious company not only boosts investment, but also consolidates development opportunities in the Western Region. This Free Trade Zone is projected to create more than 20,000 quality jobs over the next 15 years.
