Municipality of Grecia and Evolution Free Zone boost Foreign Direct Investment Promotion and Attraction
On July 16, 2021 the Municipality of Grecia and the Special Commission for Investment Promotion and Attraction recognized the work of Evolution Free Zone in the promotion of investment and generation of quality employment in the Western Region of Costa Rica.
Evolution Free Zone is a smart community that brings together high-tech companies from the Life Sciences industry and smart manufacturing sector, value-added services, academic and technological training centers, logistics companies, and business and commercial services, all with the highest global standards.
“Our commitment is to promote and enhance the technical and academic development of human resources in the area in order to meet the demand for talent that will increase with the establishment of more companies in Evolution Free Zone”, said Álvaro Carballo, President of CODE Development Group.
This recognition joins a declaration of Evolution Free Zone by the Municipal Council last year, designating it as an urban landmark and of cantonal interest, due to its strategic value for the country and the region.
