Evolution Free Zone promotes quality jobs and accelerates employment opportunities in the West

May 2026. Thanks to its strategic location, Evolution Free Zone stands out as a driver of quality job creation and the expansion of employment opportunities outside the Greater Metropolitan Area.

Currently, the eight companies confirmed in this high-tech business park are projected to generate 6,000 jobs in their initial stages of operation. As part of their recruitment process, these organizations are prioritizing technical skills, soft skills, and adaptability, seeking candidates whose profiles align with the evolving needs of advanced industries.

In the long term, projections indicate up to 20,000 quality jobs over the next 15 years,  for directly benefiting the residents of cantons such as San Ramón, Grecia, Atenas, Naranjo, Palmares, Poás, Zarcero, Sarchí, Orotina, and San Mateo.

These efforts are complemented by the commitment  of the companies operating within the Park, which support workforce development through ongoing training programs, technical certifications, and career advancement plans within global organizations.  As part of this vision, Evolution Free Zone established a strategic partnership with the National Institute of Learning (INA) to create an on-site training center focused on high-demand technical and operational programs.

This center will offer specialized courses in areas such as precision mechanics technicians and operators, quality technicians and inspectors, production supervisors, operators in medical manufacturing best practices, technical English, and fine motor skills development for medical manufacturing, along with programs tailored to the actual needs of companies.
